Programme 25
On this film we see the detailed assessment of a woman with two problems; an abnormal cervical smear and a large pelvic mass, which is probably a benign cyst. The major concerns of the patient, regarding the question of oophorectomy, and hormone replacement therapy are sympathetically addressed. Techniques demonstrated include colposcopy and pelvic ultrasound (Dr Sandy Christie).
