Programme 40
These programmes were filmed at the Maudsley Smoker's Clinic in London, and at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Loma Linda, California. The interviews in the first film give excellent insight into the process of quitting through the eyes of eleven patients at various stages of the process. We learn through example how informed health care professionals can help in this process, with the use of behavioural techniques and medication with nicotine replacement and bupropion
